Dr. Hung has made significant contributions to the Language Centre since taking up the headship in 1999. He restructured the Centre to achieve coherence in the offering of its programmes. Through his encouragement on staff development, he has helped to improve the quality of staff colleagues' teaching and their commitment to teaching related research. His administration work is efficient, prompt and proactive. His active participation in the Arts Faculty Executive Committee and willingness to take up duties whenever called upon is highly appreciated. In addition, he has been appointed as the Director of the Centre for the Advancement of English for Professionals since February 2000 and has successfully developed its programmes from scratch.
