Dr. Luk has made significant contributions to the development of the University over her long years of service in the institution. Amongst her valuable service to the University, Dr. Luk had served as Head of the Management Department, the Administrative Information Management Department and the Secretarial Management Department for more than ten years, leading the development of these three units during a critical period of time. The success of the present BBA (Hons) degree course also owes much to her dedication and diligence as the Course Leader for an extended period of time in its early years of development. Over the years, Dr. Luk has participated actively and extensively in numerous School and University committees. While carrying her substantial duties as the Associate Director of the Business Research Centre, Dr. Luk has accepted the challenge to serve as the Director of the Wing Lung Bank International Institute for Business Development (IIBD) since 1995. Under her leadership, the IIBD has grown into an active and significant international consortium of the University. Dr. Luk's tireless contributions and dedicated service to the University makes her a most deserving recipient of this Award.
