Prof. Selmer is an active and productive scholar with an outstanding research record and scholastic achievement. He is internationally known for his contribution in the research areas of cross-cultural and expatriate management. Many of his papers could be found in reputable international refereed journals of the field. He has been very successful in obtaining research grants in recent years for projects in which he was the principal investigator. Over the years, Prof. Selmer has been making significant contribution to the advancement of research and scholarly work in the Management Department. Through his high level of publication achievements, he not only contributes to the research output of the Department, but also acts as a role model for junior colleagues, boosting departmental research and publication activities. To promote a research culture in the Department, he has also been instrumental in organizing a number of research seminar series.
