Dr. Chan is a highly respected teacher who is well known for her care and love of her students. She is committed to the development and experiment of innovative teaching methods for her students and she always puts teaching as her first priority. Her indefatigable effort in preparing lectures and arranging additional activities facilitate learning and participation in her students. Through her conscientious and genuine interaction with students, she is a good role model for students and has been their inspiration throughout their career. Her outstanding achievement was recognized by her election to be an "Outstanding Lecturer" by the Student Union some years ago.
