Both in terms of her dedication to her work and her talents as a writer and teacher, Ms. Wu is regarded by her students and her peers as an excellent teacher of Chinese. Students have praised her tireless efforts and success in guiding and inspiring them. Her advice and encouragement to her students go well beyond the classroom. She is instrumental in helping her students in the creation of websites on Chinese poetic/prose writing and using them as a forum to encourage students' creative writing and sharing on their works. As evidence of her good teaching, many of her students have developed an interest in Chinese creative writing since joining the University and have also won prizes in Chinese writing competitions.
