Prof. Cheung is an active and productive researcher with an impressive publication record. Besides publishing journal papers and writing/editing books, she has done a lot of translation work of various forms. Her research output reflects not only her commitment to scholarship, but also her diligence as a professional translator. Even during the period of her serious illness, she remained active in research. Prof. Cheung is highly commended for her dedication to quality work as a teacher-translator-scholar. Moreover, she is regarded as a mentor to junior colleagues in research.
