Prof. Yip is highly commended for her contributions to her Department, Faculty and the University over the years. In carrying out her administrative duties at different levels as member of various committees, she is reliable, forthcoming with prudent ideas and mindful of different perspectives. She enjoys good relationship with staff colleagues and her guidance to junior colleagues is highly appreciated. As head of department, she is proactively promoting academic activities by organizing conferences at the University and collaboration with sister institutions. Her effort to promote research and academic exchange is commendable.
