Prof. Lena Fung is an academic wearing many hats. Among the many capacities she undertook in serving the Physical Education Department and the University are her important role as Co-ordinator of the Master's Programme in Sports and Leisure Management and Associate Director of the Dr. Stephen Hui Research Centre in Physical Recreation and Wellness. Despite her substantial workload, Prof. Fung has initiated a new programme "Sports and Recreation Leadership" and has worked diligently towards the promotion and development of both the new and master's degree programmes. Prof. Fung also volunteered to take up the difficult task of co-ordinating all the self-financed programmes of her Department, another good indicator of her eagerness to work for the benefit of the Department. By providing leadership to the team and setting a role model, Prof. Fung has shown her commitment and dedication to the University and to the local community.
