Dr. Cynthia Lee joined the Language Centre in 1998 and has since then assumed a number of key roles and major responsibilities - all of which she took up with proven capability and dedication. The latest addition - and the most important one - was her taking up the Headship of the Centre's English Section in 2004, a position which entails overseeing a staff team of 20-plus English teachers and English courses catering for more than 1,000 students. Dr. Lee has executed her duties with commendable zeal, diligence, initiative and capability. In addition to serving the University in a number of capacities, Dr. Lee also renders valuable service to the Hong Kong community and the education sector, generously sharing her expertise with the wider public.
