A long-serving and dedicated staff colleague, Dr. Peter Lau has taken on numerous administrative responsibilities at different levels since he joined the University in 1987. Colleagues appreciate in particular his versatility, his good service attitude and his willingness to accept added responsibilities. Dr. Lau's valuable service as Head of the Accountancy and Law Department for 7 years and as major Co-ordinator (Accounting) for 12 years is exemplary of his commitment to serving the University. He has also made remarkable contributions to the development of the BBA (Hons) degree programme by serving as Secretary to the BBA Course Management Committee and the BBA Course Board. In addition, he has rendered much-needed service to many of the University's committees. Equally active in the accounting profession, Dr. Lau has served extensively on many external committees and is a sought-after speaker for professional presentations and talks. His selfless contributions towards the University and the profession have earned him high respect from his colleagues and peers.
