Dr. Zhang Hong-qi is known among his students as a dedicated, enthusiastic and effective teacher. As an expert in Physiology and Pathology, Dr. Zhang is heavily involved in the teaching of Pathology, Anatomy and Physiology, Surgery, and Emergency Medicine subjects. His excellent teaching performance is often reflected in his high teaching evaluation scores. Students commended in particular his systematic lecture presentation and his ability to transform difficult lecture contents into understandable and attractive materials. Dr. Zhang's continuous efforts in improving his teaching skills and adopting new approaches to enhance the learning and thinking capacity of his students also drew favourable feedback from his students. In addition to teaching undergraduate students, Dr. Zhang also supervises postgraduate, including PhD, students.
